Efstathios Fountoukidis

Mayor Stathis Fountoukidis was born in 1976 in Pella. He is a graduate of Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and he holds a MSc degree in Public Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2002 he worked as a practicing lawyer in Athens and since May 2004 he has maintained his law office in the center of Giannitsa, the capital city of Municipality of Pella. As a lawyer, he has represented citizens and small or medium-sized businesses in civil, criminal and administrative trials, while he has also handled commercial business cases. He served as president of the Giannitsa Bar Association and delegate of the Plenary Session of Greek Bars to the anti-money laundering commission. He was elected Mayor of Pella in 2023.
