Ivo Tenev Dimov

Mayor Ivo Tenev Dimov holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Plovdiv University “Paisii Halendarski,” with a specialization from the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitar Panitsa.” He has a successful career in politics, having been elected as the Mayor of the Municipality Dimitrovgrad in October 2011. Prior to that, he served as a Member of Parliament in the 41st National Assembly from 2009 to 2011. From 2007 to 2009, Dimov held the position of Chairman of the Municipal Council of Dimitrovgrad. Additionally, he has contributed to the governance of municipalities as a Member of the Board of the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB). Dimov is fluent in the English language.
