Mehmet Kesimoğlu

Mayor Kesimoğlu was born in 1960 in Kırklareli. He graduated from Ankara  University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration in  1983. He was the Chief Consultant at the Ministry of Tourism. He has held various  senior positions in the private sector and in the public sector. He was elected as  Kırklareli Member of Parliament in the 22nd Term. In the same period, he became  the President of the Turkey – Estonia Parliamentary Friendship Group. He was re elected as a Member of Parliament for Kırklareli in the 24th term. Kesimoğlu has  been the Mayor of Kırklareli since 2014, he won his second term in 2019.
