Panagiotis Christofas

He is a Civil Engineer, a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens, from where he also obtained two postgraduate degrees (Design & Construction of Underground Works and Science & Technology of Water Resources). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Association of Civil Engineers and the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee of T.E.E. as well as a member of the Steering Committee of the Regional Department of the Northeast Aegean of T.E.E.

He worked as a freelancer in the field of public and private projects. He was born, grew up and active in Mytilini, Lesvos. In May 2019, he was a candidate for Regional Governor – Head of the faction “DARE for the North Aegean” where he was elected regional councilor. In September 2020 he was appointed Thematic Deputy Regional Governor for “Planning, Industry and Energy” and in September 2021, he also assumed the responsibilities of the NSRF.
