Shaqir Totaj

Shaqir Totaj was born on 24 December, 1960 in Prizren. He studied Economics at the University of Prishtina. He attendet postgraduate studies at University of Washington and TADAT which is the IMF’s special program in Washington DC.  He is the president of the basketball club Bashkimi since 2012. He also serves as the Vice President of Kosovo Basketball Federation since 2013. He became the Vice President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo in 2020. He speaks Albanian, English and Serbo-Croatian fluently. He also speaks Turkish at primary level. He is married with two children and resides in Prizren.
