Spyros Vrettos

Mayor Vrettos was born on 18 June 1976 in Acharnes. He graduated from the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the same time he attended and graduated from Constantinou Computer Studies as a computer programmer. From 2000 to 2012 he worked as a successful Professor of Physics and Informatics. Mayor Vrettos was elected for the first time as a City Councilor in the 2010 Municipal Elections. In the first two years he served as President of the newly established Secondary School Committee, where he undertook the difficult task of organizing and managing a new Legal Entity. In January 2013 he was appointed Vice Mayor of Finance where he remained for ten months. In June 2019 Vrettos was elected Mayor of Acharnes.
