Dejan Prodanoski
Mayor Prodanoski was born on 14 April 1981 in Prilep, Republic of North Macedonia. He completed his primary and secondary education in Prilep and subsequently pursued higher education at the Technical Faculty of St. Kliment Ohridski University of Bitola, specializing in traffic and road transportation engineering. In 2006, he earned a Master’s degree in Traffic Engineering. He began his professional career in 2008 at the Prilep Branch of the State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia. Building on his institutional experience, he served as Head of the Prilep Branch from 2012 to 2017. In 2024, he continued his public service as a Member of Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia, representing VMRO-DPMNE.
At the local level, Mr. Prodanoski has been actively engaged in public and civic life, serving as President of the Census Commission in 2011, as a Member of the Prilep Municipal Council from 2017 to 2021, and as President of the Prilep Municipal Council from 2021 to 2024. In addition to his professional and civic responsibilities, he has progressed through all levels of political engagement. In 2020, he was elected President of the VMRO-DPMNE Prilep Municipal Committee. He is fluent in several languages, including English and German, and has accumulated substantial institutional experience, contributing to the development of society and the local community.
