Cetinje

The Old Royal Capital Cetinje is the historical and cultural center of Montenegro, recognized as a symbol of the country’s statehood and cultural identity. As the former seat of Montenegrin rulers, the city has been a site of significant cultural and educational achievements, including the establishment of Montenegro’s first printing house and the publication of the first books in the southern Slavic region. Cetinje is also home to two national parks – Lovćen and Skadar Lake – which represent outstanding natural and cultural heritage.
