Tetovo

Tetovo is a vibrant city in the northwest of Macedonia, nestled at the foot of Shar Mountain and bisected by the Pena River. Its rich history is evident in various landmarks like the 15th-century Painted Mosque and the Arabati Baba Teqe both built during the Ottoman Empire. As the third-largest city in Macedonia, Tetovo boasts two Universities, the State University of Tetovo and the Southeastern European University.
