Beti Stamenkoska
Mayor Stamenkoska was born on 19 April 1977 in Skopje, where she completed her education and developed her professional and public career. Since 2001, she has worked as a graduate geography professor at the Institute of Geography at the University “Sts. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje and has taught in several primary and secondary schools, including “Goce Delchev”, “Josip Broz Tito”, and “Orce Nikolov”. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she has been actively involved in international, environmental, and humanitarian projects, with particular recognition for her work in bilingual English and French programs at “Orce Nikolov” High School. She is the author of geography textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education and Science and has served as an author, coordinator, and participant in Erasmus+ projects, as well as in professional training programs in France and the United Kingdom. Fluent in English and French, she served as a Member of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia from 2020 to 2025, representing VMRO-DPMNE. On 22 January 2025, she was awarded the distinction Knight of the Order of Academic Palms by the French Embassy for her outstanding contribution to the promotion of French culture, education, and the Francophone community. Following the local elections held on 18 October 2025, she was elected Mayor of the Municipality of Kisela Voda, assuming office after winning the mandate in the first round.
