Dr. Candan YÜCEER
Born in 1973, Candan Yüceer completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara and graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. She has served the people of Ankara and Tekirdağ as a physician in state institutions and private organizations.
Candan Yüceer ia the founding president of Tekirdağ Çerkezköy CUMOK, a member of the Board of Directors of CUMOK Turkey, a member and manager of Tekirdağ Çerkezköy Kemalist Thought Association, a member of Women Hand in Hand Association, and a member of Tekirdağ Medical Chamber. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science and Public Administration and was elected as a Tekirdağ Deputy in the 2011 and 2015 Parliamentary General Elections. She served as a PM member of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Party Assembly.
During her parliamentary term, she closely followed Tekirdağ’s problems such as environment, education, health, transportation and investment in the Parliament and brought these problems to the agenda of the country. In 11 districts, she was in constant contact with the people, visited neighborhoods, neighborhoods and villages, and worked both locally and nationally to solve problems. She supported local governments in their service processes.
During her tenure in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, she stood by the victims and oppressed not only in her constituency but also in social problems across the country and sought solutions. She served as a member of the Health, Family, Labor and Social Affairs Committee, Deputy Chairperson and Group Spokesperson of the Committee on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men, and Chairperson of the CHP Women’s and Children’s Rights Monitoring and Investigation Committee. Dr. Candan Yüceer, who is married and mother of 2 children, serves as a local administrator in Tekirdağ and continues to work for every individual to feel the privilege of living in Tekirdağ.
