Peđa Grbin
Mayor Grbin was born on 24 May 1979 in Pula, where he grew up. He completed his primary and secondary education in Pula and graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb in 2003. After gaining professional experience as a legal trainee and practicing attorney, he established his own law office in 2006, where he worked until his election to the Croatian Parliament in 2011. Politically active since his student years, he joined the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP) in 1998 and went on to hold several senior positions within the party, including Vice President. He served as a Member of the Croatian Parliament from 2011 to 2023, being re-elected multiple times and securing the highest number of preferential votes within his coalition in the 2020 parliamentary elections. Throughout his parliamentary career, he held a number of key leadership roles, most notably as President of the Committee on the Judiciary. Peđa Grbin currently serves as Mayor, bringing extensive legal expertise and legislative experience to local governance.
