Pella

Pella is a city located in the Central Macedonia region of Greece and is the capital of this region. It is also of historical importance as the capital of the Ancient Macedonian Kingdom. Pella is known as the birthplace of King Philip I of Macedonia (Philip II) and his son Alexander the Great.
