The B40 Balkan Cities Network will hold its fifth and highest-level annual Summit between 25–27 January 2026 in Zagreb, bringing together mayors and local government representatives and leading experts from across the region and Europe.
The program will spotlight green transition, sustainability, cultural and tourism cooperation, and democracy—featuring dynamic roundtables designed to deepen knowledge exchange and accelerate joint action among member cities.
As the Network’s flagship event, the Summit will also host the B40 General Assembly, the Executive Committee Meeting, and a series of high-level bilateral talks among city leaders. In addition, a Local Democracy Panel, organized in cooperation with Eurocities, will bring together mayors from many major European cities and focus on protecting and defending local democracy.
