Kostadin Dimitrov

Kostadin Dimitrov has been serving as the Mayor of Plovdiv since November 8, 2023. Mayor Dimitrov, who holds a master’s degree in mathematics, was previously the mayor of the Trakiya district in Plovdiv. He was first elected to this position in 2011 and went on to win the elections in 2015 and 2019, consecutively holding the position of Mayor of the Trakiya District for three terms. In the 2019 elections, he secured a victory in the first round with a voting percentage of over 60%. In the local elections held in 2023, he was elected as the Mayor of Plovdiv.
