Kalin Kamenov
Kalin Kamenov was born on July 19, 1980. He holds a Master’s degree in Law from South-West University “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza” in Sofia and has completed a specialization in Management of Personal Development through the “Hans Seidel” and “Konrad Adenauer” Foundations.
Kamenov’s professional career includes serving as Deputy Chairperson (2010-2012) and later as Chairperson (2012-2013) of the State Agency for Child Protection. He also worked as an Expert on Youth Policies in the 42nd National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria and was appointed Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport in 2014.
He was elected Mayor of Vratsa in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. From 2015 to 2019, Kamenov served as a member of the NAMRB Managing Board and was a member of the Monitoring Committee of the Human Resources Development Operational Programme. Between 2016 and 2020, he chaired the Managing Board of the Professional Municipal Football Club “Botev,” Vratsa
