Majlinda Bufi
Majlinda Bufi was born on May 20, 1972, in Roskovec, Albania. She pursued her secondary education at Adem Vrapi High School before studying at the University of Tirana, where she earned a degree in Civil Engineering. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Decentralization of Local Government and Its Effects on Economic Development and completed a PhD focusing on Assessment of Potentials in Regional Development from the Agricultural University of Tirana.
Throughout her career, Majlinda held various key roles, including Director of the Office of Services and Urban Planning in several municipalities, Technical Director at ANBI sh.p.k., and CEO of Megal Center. From 2013 to 2015, she served as a member of the Albanian Parliament. Since 2015, she has been the Mayor of Roskovec Municipality, currently serving her second term.
In addition to her professional achievements, Majlinda has participated in numerous training programs and international conferences. She is fluent in Albanian, with proficiency in English and Italian. Majlinda is married and has two children.
