Pjerin Ndreu
Pjerin Ndreu was born on December 12, 1966, in Pukë. He was a candidate for Member of Parliament in the 2017 Albanian parliamentary elections, representing the Lezhë District, proposed by the Socialist Party of Albania. He holds a higher education degree, having graduated from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Higher School (1988-1992) and later from the Faculty of Law in Tirana (2003-2007).
His professional experience includes serving as a Member of Parliament since 2013. Previously, he held key roles in law enforcement, including Director of Tirana Police (2003-2004), Deputy General Director of State Police (2002-2003), and Director of Shkodër District Police (2001-2002). He also served as Director of Border Police (2000-2001) and held various leadership positions within police structures from 1993 onwards.
In addition to his professional career, Pjerin Ndreu was a lecturer at the Justiniani I Pare Faculty (2006-2013) and served as the Chair of the Socialist Party in Tirana District (2011-2015). He has participated in several security-related training programs, including ICITAP in Canada.
